Notice: please bring your towel with you, recommendable to use crocks/ swiming shoes on the path to the lake. It is essential to drink a lot of water before the peat treatment (recommendable to drink 2 litres of water during the day).
Public mixed sauna - visit to the world´s largest smoke sauna! There are separate changing rooms and showers for men and women, the sauna room is common with swimming suits on.

Visit to the world’s largest smoke sauna and enjoy the hot sauna privately with your own group (minimum group size is 15 persons). Have a swim at a pond with cold springs – in winter try the invigorating cold plunge in the frozen lake.
The sauna is suitable for men and women together – there are separate changing rooms and showers. The sauna room is shared for everyone, so please wear a swimsuit. Towels and water for drinking are included. You are free to bring soft drink cans with you. There is a cozy campfire at the sauna porch. The sauna building is free from smoke, only the smell of smoke is caught in the log walls due to the specific heating process for the sauna.

Natural peat treatment in the world’s largest smoke sauna is a fun and health promoting experience. Peat is 100% natural ingredient, which contains various nutrients and minerals. Peat used as a mask on your skin helps to clean and soften the skin as well as to clean metabolic waste from the body. Remember hydration: drink 1-2 litres of water before peat sauna treatment.
This treatment is not recommended for those suffering from acute heart, vascular or cancer problems and not suitable during pregnancy or nursing.
PRIVATE PEAT SAUNA IS AVAILABLE ONLY FOR 15-60 PERSONS´ GROUPS.
A guide will explain every step to the guests during the whole process and stay with your group until the peat treatment is done. Begin the treatment by washing yourself and go to the sauna for about 10 minutes. Have a shower again and spread the warm peat on your skin. Go back to the sauna for 20 minutes (remember hydration, have some water/ mineral water while sitting in the sauna during the peat treatment). Take a shower and wash off the peat. After that you may go swimming and sauna again, if you like.
Tea, coffee and bread are served after the sauna around a campfire at the sauna porch.

Notice: It is essential to drink plenty of water during the day before the peat sauna. We recommend to take your swimming shoewear with you.

Relaxed art workshop
Painting workshop with an experienced artist. Suitable for beginners, easy and fun experience. We will use fast-dryeing gouache and acrylic paints.

Heritage craft demonstration
Guided walking tour at Tupaswilla yard presents authentic handicraft. See the blacksmith forging in his shop, old times tar producing and use, shingle roof making, traditional whisk binding, spinning wool and dyeing wool yarn with natural ingredients, weaving rug carpet. Lumberjack culture demonstration available occasionally.

Safari driving old army vehicles
Drive up and down our routes in the forest. Each participant gets to drive on his/ her turn. Our guide will come along and help when needed. You can also choose a ride where only the guide will drive and you´ll just enjoy the 10-minute wild ride.
The safari drive will be customised according to each group.

Buffet
Delicious buffet menus offer the best parts of Finland`s culinary traditions. Creamy salmon soup, local sauna-smoked ham, forest berries, local fried vendace, hand made karelian pasties, original rye bread, blueberry pie etc. All our food is made lactose free. Special diets and vegan dishes regarded as request.
